My install went great on Monday.
Seriously..... you have this vision in your head and hope it translates after you place everything in the room.
Fingers crossed. You have to like it and so do they.
My clients are having guest this week and I wanted their space to really shine.....even though we are not entirely finished with the plan.
Here are pictures of the foyer.
Before.
We first added the wallpaper and a new light fixture.
This shot is standing in the dining room...so the front door is to the right.
The back of the bookshelves were painted and accessorized. The biggest impact for me was how much the color of the grasscloth added warmth and texture to the space.
Here is a before shot standing in the den.
The door is painted a dark gray.
This is a shot from the front door.
I see that the table and rug aren't centered.....I was so tired I just did not have the energy to even notice:) She wanted to keep the table and rug so I added a little blue with the paint behind the bookshelves.
Bookshelves before
And after. I only added the books, the 2 glass bottles, the twine ball, and the basket on the top shelf. I absolutely love going to flea markets looking for small pieces that help give a curated look. And of course Target and HG's help me out also:)
2nd bookshelf
When she took all of the accessories out of the rooms and bookcases....I asked her to make an area of things that had to be used.... with meaning to their family. I always try and showcase what is important to them whether it is a picture or art from travels.
On this shelf I added the books, galvanized ball, 2 bottles, greenery, magnifying glass, and small black box.
I love this little stool I found in the office....perfect for this space.
I rehung their art so we can start a gallery wall.....
It's great when clients are open to my suggestions....they didn't blink when I mentioned painting the front door....
As you can see this is a large space....and it needed to be warmed up.
I am tickled pink with how it turned out and they are too! That makes it all worth it.
I love my job so much....
I will try to get the rest of the pictures edited for Friday so you can see the main living area....
Like I said....if you live in Atlanta you have yellow snot.
I do.
Have the best Wednesday ever....and if I don't say it enough....thank you for reading my blog and taking the time to comment.
Shagratful.
