I don't know about you but I have a beef with cleaning. No matter how often you clean ...it just gets dirty again.
So what I am feeling is that there is no finish line.
And.....I don't like that. Just saying.
Because I spent the weekend doing it and it's not going to last.
I also worked pulling crap out of my house for a yard sale at my sisters. Why do I have more than 7-8 white euro shams in different patterns?
I know you don't have the answer to that because you have your own collections that are baffling.
While I was over at Maggie's house doing some ORC planning we came across this...
Her trophy for winning "Bunny of the Year" for the Baltimore club.
You might think I am working this "bunny" thing.
Maybe that's a fact.
On to french writing. About 20 years ago after the "red ragged" dining room, Maggie got a friend of hers to do this to her DR walls.
Ignore the curtains...they are going into the yard sale. The walls are painted BM Linen White I think and she took a french book and just started writing.
Since we are working on her LR for the ORC it started spilling over to some other rooms. Of course that would happen. No surprise there.
She painted her Chippendale chairs white. Her husband freaked out...."you painted your wood chair!". My reply....yeah so? What's you point.
Shut up all you men who think wood should not be painted. The trim is painted. The wood on the outside of the house is painted....don't make me go on.
Then with some leftover fabric we covered them in white linen.
You can see that the curtains are now blue.
Looking at this Jim Thompson fabric for 2 small pillows.
We are going for a "frasian" look.
Another look at the walls. We are thinking about keeping them....I tried to get a good picture because they really are pretty.
We keep going back and forth. Thoughts?
I will let you know soon what we decided. We have lot of other fish to fry in this room.
Alrighty then....gotta go.
Monday is rough....I know. Just do it.
