Although I mostly stick to a neutral Christmas palette, the last few years I have tried little bits of red here and there. This year though, we didn't do any red and we are doing a simple, neutral palette throughout the house except in the girls' bedroom and playroom where we have all sorts of PINK! Lots and lots of pink! And I have to admit even though it's not what I am usually drawn to it has been so much fun and the girls have been so excited about it.
We've done a few projects in here like painting these old sleds we had from years ago. They were green and red but we took them apart and spray painted the red metal parts gold and then the green seats white and then put them back together. They are the perfect size for their dolls and stuffed animals (I have some shots of their dolls on them that I will share when I do the full playroom post - we are still working on a few other projects in there though).
Balsam Hill is sponsoring the Christmas Housewalk that we are taking part in December 1st and we got this
fabulous white Christmas tree from them. Lillie and Lola were so excited about it and it was the perfect size for in here.
And we got a couple of these little bottle brush trees from Target.
We've been playing around with the pink in their bedroom too. We first had the little soldiers that we got last year at HomeGoods in here but then moved them to the playroom. We are still playing around with things in both rooms so not sure which room they will end up in.
Well, that's it for now! I'll be back next with some Christmas decorating at Jason's! Hopefully tomorrow at some point, but worst case Saturday morning. I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday!
