Megan and I just got back from a trip to our new Nashville, TN store. It is a great city and our store looks terrific! Here are some photos of new vignettes in the store:
Here is a bathroom featuring the Driftwood Collection with bronze accents:
This is the "Shanna kitchen" with the Monterrey 10 cm, Napoli listello, bronze trim and New Venetian Granite. I used two tones of wood for the cabinets. One is Birch with Soy paint and the other is Cherry with a dark stain. The trend of mixing cabinet species and finishes is still going strong. Consumers do this to achieve a more aesthetically appealing look. I used leaded glass in the uppers to lighten up the entire space.
Here is a more rustic kitchen. I used the Gobi Corinth on the backsplash in a vertical pattern to give the illusion of height. The front of the bar is also tiled in the Gobi slate. I think it is a great idea to tile the front of islands, L-shaped counters and bars that will have barstools in front of them. The slate will not get damaged like wood does. The stools are made from reclaimed wine barrels as is the chalkboard on the wall. I like to mix materials, so I added glass pendants to the mix for an eclectic look.
It wouldn't be Nashville without something grand and flashy! I used a freestanding Copper tub in this bathroom to create "rustic elegance". The lights and vanity are still missing. I will include photos of what they will look like so you can get the entire visual.
These are some rustic and traditional vignettes. I will be blogging with more photos of the Nasvhille store this week. Stay tuned!
