It has been a busy week around here. With Scott's on Thursday and the Mart on Friday and Saturday, I have been a picture taking fool. Sadly, my home looks like a war zone. I have been meaning to start getting it purdy since the holidays are over but for me that takes some
dedication.
I just got the wreath off the door and felt OK about that when I was walking my dog the other day and saw that someone still had the tree up AND the lights on. Really? I would not turn on the lights. Dead giveaway. So what is the cutoff date on that sort of thing anyway?????
Let me just say how pissed off I am reading about all you type A's who are organizing, painting, cleaning closets already. Dang it y'all I am serious when I say that there should be at least a 2-3 week grace period before we start overhauling everything.
OK...enough about me and my inefficient abilities to run with the pack.
I should have bought this....original travel stickers on an old suitcase. So cool. Why did we stop doing that to our suitcases anyway??? Oh yeah that's right. They won't stick on fabric.
OK all you craft DIY people....take the drop-clothe and cut up, then sew together. Upholster.
Closeup....
One more shot.
Chairs...a REAL addiction. Seriously. I know you guys can testify to this.
So my new client has 2 of these in her house....I told her to paint.....here is the proof.
If you are an artist...knock yourself out! Love the gray background.
2 huge pots....like $150 for both???
Beautiful gilded chair.
Mid Century beauty......
Garden seats. Tangerine. I am torn about the color of the year....I think they should have gone with green.
It's blue that's why.
Turquoise and pink......bring it.
Sometimes I like to take pictures of pretty vignettes. This was one.
More Mid Century madness.....
Just these colors....Turquoise and lavender.......loving.
This is a great handmade table.....
Same booth.... and more art
Here is the info....for art and table.
And some great handmade headboards....in America!
And the info.
Oy Vey.....me likey.
Could go nicely with the Palm Beach theme of my giveaway!!!
More chair crack.
Remember I saw these last month? Well here they are and they brought all of their cousins. Only thing was I could not find the "booth owner".....which by the way is my pet peeve. Seriously....are you here to sell stuff or walk around and chit chat with people????
Another little gem that I wanted...again...no one in the booth.
When I look for second hand wing chairs, I always like them to have a straight leg......easier if you intend to put a skirt on them.
Again....No. One. In. The. Booth. I am feeling murderous by now.
Did I just crawl out from under a rock????? I have never seen a ceiling medallion this shape before.
I also saw this dude....
.Ryan Gainey. He is "world renown" as a garden designer. I asked if I could snap a picture. He said yes....as he looked away. Then he asked me if I was a jewelry designer? Huh? Uh no....
OK then as he completely looked away. I wanted to say....but I am a "world renown" blogger dude! So back the F**** up or I will cut you right here in Scott's.
Yeah...I am just talking big here. We all know I am a wuss.
I have a few more...pillows and fabric, but must run out and get a birthday present for a 1 year old. I have no earthly idea what to get. Don't the parents get a present for surviving 1 year??????
Have a Sunday that makes you REALLY appreciate the tail end of the weekend.
Don't forget about the
Palm Beach giveaway.....
Maybe I will organize a closet or something.....NOT.
